6. review - Financial troubles force a recent divorcée and her teenage sons Mike and Sam to settle down with her father in the California town of Santa Carla. The town is plagued by bikers and some mysterious deaths. At first, Sam laughs off rumors he hears about vampires who inhabit the small town, until he makes friends with two other boys who claim to be vampire hunters. But after Mike meets a beautiful girl at the local amusement park, he begins to exhibit the classic signs of vampirism, sleeping days and staying out all night, and is drawn into the gang of bikers by the beautiful girl. The younger boy starts getting into trouble because of his friends' obsession. Fearing for his own safety, Sam recruits the two young vampire hunters to save his brother by finding and destroying the head vampire

The lost Boys is my all time favorite movie even though it was made when i was three years old I have come to know and love it. I am a lover of vampires and have seen them all, this one is fantastic lots of excitement and great tunes this is a well rounded vampire flick. The vamps are sexy, tough, and brutal killers, it comes in one big package. The acting is smart and sassy there is no cheese at all involved with this movie even though it was made in the 80's. See it, Rent it, or Buy it you will not be let down, Besides with the Corey's and Kiefer Sutherland what's not to love or lose! Sleep all day. Party all night. Never grow old. Never die. It's fun to be a vampire.

The entire cast worked great together and I woudl say this is definitely a Vampire movie worth watching over and over again. Kiefer Sutherland, Jami Gertz, Corey Feldman, Corey Haim, Jason Patric, Diane Wiest (Law & Order) Alex Winter (Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure) Barnard Hughes ( Buzz from Blossom) is a riot in this as Grandpa. The entire cast worked so well and no wonder it was also good was that it is a Joel Schumacher film. I would have to say that this was the pinacle for Feldman and Haim. After this thier career just plummeted. Watch this movie and you will recognize so many faces in it, the effects are cool, the camera shots are really good and the music is perfect for this type of film. If you are gonna watch some supernatural flicks then definitely add this to the list. The Craft, Lost Boys, John Carpenter's Vampires, Modern Vampires and Fright Night have to be the top 5 supernatural flicks to watch. None are boring at all. Lost Boys rates up there with Breakfast Club as one of the best films from the 80's. Remember, a Vampire cannot come into your house unless he is invited. Once again, ohh that Jami a babe she was/is.

Every single character is perfect in their respective roles and you will NEVER find a vampire gang as cool as David, Dwayne, Paul and Marco. Sam and Michael work great together as the chalk and cheese brothers while Edgar and Alan are hilarious and yet dangerous at the same time. Max as the infamous head vampire is just perfect and all other characters give solid performances. I think I've seen this film close to 100 times. All in all.
